RE: Enable SSH in various XWindow Managers

hi,  after authenticating to a remote host when i do a:
$xterm &
#i get the below error.. since AFAIK i do not actually need to set X to tunnel
#what is the solution it has me stumped since on yet another remote host i get
# the x apps just fine..
xterm Xt error: Can't open display:  any ideas?
