Sounds good to me.  (I assumed this to be the intented ordering from the
following sentence: "The Inbox consists semantically of a list of
conversations in order of last activity."  But a clarification
definitely makes sense.)

There's also no way for the user's server to track unread messages on
remote MUCs (persistent or not), as the user's server won't see the
groupchat messages if the user is offline, and has no access to the
MUC's MAM archive (and therefore the MAM/stanza IDs), right?
