I've also seen a slowdown when running animations. I'm running on Windows 98 and a 233 Pentium with 64 mb of RAM. I assumed I was seeing the effects of running 21st century software on a 2oth century processor, but I don't feel so bad after hearing Don's report of a slowdown on his NAFAL machine :) It would be great if there is in fact a fix for this.
