In Windows you can run an application called Character Map. You can easily
start it by entering charmap in the Run... menu. The exact characters you
get will depend on the font and code page you are using.

Thanks Peter,
The Alt+0176 gave me () but the Alt+0246 gave me
(.). I am finding a lot of different ones however.Alt+0174 gives (),
Alt+0179 gives( ), Alt+0177 () etc. Must be a lot . Have not found the one
for Bootes yet. Is there a list of them somewhere? Or what is this operation
called?

Thanks again,

Don
