Not really close architecture-wise, just speed-wise.
ARM has its own problems that will likely come up
only once we profile on ARM
(e.g. virtual calls should be more expensive).

I'd like to eventually get it working on something like Raspberry Pi,
I think it should be possible (although that's not near future -
university will be taking most of my time)

So far with all grids enabled and everything else disabled (no stars, etc)
I got 80-to-100 FPS speedup, and there are some things left to optimize there.
(Not committed, it's a mess right now). Not sure how that will affect
FPS on the
Atoms, though.

I'll probably try a streaming VBO vertex buffer backend too, but I
have no idea if that
will increase or decrease performance.
