what you have done in order to sell your sculptures - I
do understand that you haven't sold any. I am asking
because I am trying,to learn not only from success
stories, but also from the less glorious ones.
I share with you the awe for Michelangelo, Rodin,
Brancusi (I'm of Romanian descent like the latter), and
I know very little of and by Noguchi. The name sounds
Japanese, but you say he is an American sculptor. By the
way you describe him, he must have been raised in the US
but in the traditional Japanese fashion. Can you
recommend any good monography on him?
I work in marble, non-figurative. I have no formal
training. The little I have learned was from sculpting
courses in Italy. When I don't carve I work as a
business consultant. I have sold one piece last year,
but I couldn't repeat the feat.
