Shay, you can use as non-Sun QLA2342 card with the qlc driver. Having
Sun firmware on the card is not a requirement. Also, yes, you must
use the qlc driver to get traffic manager capabilities.
I run about 20 non-Sun QLA2342 and QLE2462 cards here with the
Solaris 10 qlc driver and mpxio just fine, and have been for over two
years now.
