That's pretty much what I had to resort to. I did try hacking the CAM install scripts to work with the WAR deployment CLI in Solaris 10, but after getting "sort of" working and not any further, I uninstalled 3.0 and went with what CAM installs.

I have to ask though, do you use any other console-based GUIs like the ZFS user interface?

On my management server in question, I don't use the ZFS console, but I would like to use N1 Systems Manager and Provisioning System, both of which want 3.x.
