Hi,
CAM isn't qualified for Solaris Nevada. It is qualified up to
Solaris 10, official release.
CAM might work with Nevada but there is no guarantee. AFAIK, a
colleague tried installing CAM on Nevada and it failed.
The Release Notes for CAM 5.1.2 which is the latest version is
available on http://www.sun.com/products-n-solutions/hardware/docs/
Software/Storage_Software/cam/cam5_1/index.html .
Excellent news! I see in the release notes that Java Console 3.x
will be supported. This what I needed!
Thanks for informing us. I like CAM as an application... one of the
more decent array managers I've used (especially when coming from
3510/3511's... yuck!)
On a side note, does CAM talk a standard protocol with the array,
such as SMI-S? Could, conceivably, one develop a CAM module that
could integrate CAM with another type of array?
