Hello,
on an LTO2 Ultrium I sometime receive errors from the backup software stating
that if could not reposition the tape.
If I stop the software and run "mt -f xxx eom" I got I/O error.
Then I rewind, status, and everything seem fine.
I don again "mt -f xxx eom" and I got again I/O error.
On /var/adm/messages I find the following for every eom I try:

what does it mean?
