Thanks for the info Pete! In my case this is VMware Server Console, 1.0.1 build-29996 and SCSI-emulation is quite tested there. What worries me is that b61/b62 works fine with the same SCSI-type disks on the same VMWare version. I didn't verified b63, but b65 clearly introduces *regression* on the same platform. Usually driver provides a workaround for HW bug and VMWare is simply yet another HW platform out there and our drivers must respect that. imho. We all hate closed binaries! So, we can not fix that on our own. At any rate, I hope some of you will jump on it and provide a patch.
