If you could at least provide us with the kernel msgbuf, the
output from "::prtconf -v" and the stack trace from kmdb that
would help us to get started.
Could you also try a newer build of Nevada and let us know
whether the problem occurs with VMWare Workstation 5 or 6?
Hi Erast,
one more thing - try as I might, it appears that VMware
doesn't provide eval licenses for VMware Workstation 5.x
any more. We'll have to work quite closely with you in
order to triage and debug this issue.
If there is anybody from VMware watching this thread, now
would be a great time to step in and offer an eval license!
