Hi there,

Just got B77 fresh installed and wanna play with CIFS server a bit - and
hopefully convert all my home storage into ZFS+CIFS.

What would be the simplest test case to perform? I can't seem to make it work.

# zfs list
NAME              USED  AVAIL  REFER  MOUNTPOINT
swimming         6.59M  12.5G    18K  none
swimming/sean    6.43M  12.5G  6.43M  /export/home/sean
swimming/share1    18K  12.5G    18K  /export/home/share1

# sharemgr show -pv zfs
zfs
    zfs/swimming/share1 smb=()
          swimming_share1=/export/home/share1

# svcs -a |egrep "idmap|smb"
online         15:04:36 svc:/system/idmap:default
online         15:04:40 svc:/network/smb/server:default

Added this line to /etc/pam.conf:
other   password required       pam_smb_passwd.so.1 nowarn

Ran passwd to generate an entry:
# cat  /var/smb/smbpasswd
sean:101::XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

But when I access it from windows  ( \\< IP address> \swimming_share1 ), I keep
getting prompted for password, but my username and password doesn't work.

Am I missing anything?

Thx,

Sean
