Jim, Ok, fine. It you can get the error via a simple connect to the target, then just get a capture file and send it to me. (You could try attaching it to a post to this forum, but people often have problems getting that to work.) And get a log file from the Windows Event log.
I will take a look at it with Ethereal &/or WireShark. Just confirm that it's the same error that Eric was reporting. I've just checked the man page for snoop, and it looks like the "-ta" will give the absolute 'wall-clock' time of the packets, so that sounds like what I want. Make sure the time on the Solaris target is synced with the Windows box, ideally with NTP. Or at a minimum make a note of the offset between the times on the servers.
