Hello Nigel, I misquoted what Service Pack level we're running. After I read your statement I went to the Windows admin and asked what level we were running and it was verified that we are at Service Pack 4. I can also get the PDU errors without attempting to transfer a file, the simple act of connecting to the iscsi target on the sun box will begin generating errors and I imagine that the amount of packets is actually small. I also won't be able to install ethereal on the windows machine as I can't reboot this particular box. The sad fact that I don't have another win2k server to connect is also very disappointing. I can obviously use snoop on the sun box though and the "absolute" option to -t could be used to get date time stamp information. I am in the process of gathering that data and can provide text output or the actual capture file.
