I suspect we're looking at exactly that. I'll have to zone each of the 4 HBA ports on the Suns separately with each of the 4 Xserve RAID HBAs ports in a different one of the aforementioned zones so that we end up with 1 side of an Xserve chassis per QLogic card port. We'll still have HA from a cluster standpoint, just without multipathed FC links. Not the ideal scenario but it still affords some level of fault-tolerance. Am I thinking correctly here?
