I restarted the target. Just to make sure I went back and [b]rebooted the server[/b] (and to be 100% clear - the full solaris box acting as the iscsi target) with /etc/iscsi/target_config.xml = <config version='1.0'> <qlog-lvl>0x1FFFF</qlog-lvl> </config>
and also one more reboot with <config version='1.0'> <qlog-lvl>0xFFFFFFFF</qlog-lvl> </config> whilst running 'snoop port 3260' just incase the client had been changed to point to a different target. The file /tmp/target_log is always empty, and the svc log never contains any more information regardless of the qlog-lvl setting.
