For me this looks like a complete different approach as in the past. A lot of people will have difficulties to move from iscsitgtd to comstar, Since with iscsitgt every target was identified by its unique iqn.
You say the iscsi target iqn is just an access point. Are iscsi target portals not supposed to be the access point? How will comstar iscsi be integrated in zfs? What will happen if we set shareiscsi=on , will it just create a new LU?
