Interesting.Using the sources listed on my web-page I kept my sytem
uptodate
to potato without any major problem. That was before
Potato-Test-Cycle-3(last week).
Disclaimer-Can't say for sure about SAT and SAS since I don't use
them,but
there are potato version compiled by Stormix.
The only problems I've seen are :

1: lilo.If you run lilo again(you don't have to) you lose the graphical
menu.
The stormix version can be reinstalled.

2: kdm :you lose the background and the stormix logo.I managed to get
them back once,it's not that hard.

3.If you use kde then you have to make sure that
/etc/alternatives/x-window-manager points to /usr/bin/kde

4.the file /etc/network have to be renamed(deleted) otherwise the
netbase
postinst script will fail(I think this was at TestCycle1,don't remember
if it was fixed at TC3)

Actually it would be a good idea to logoff then killall kdm(gdm)(xdm)

The beta archive won't help too much in this case since the packages we
are speaking about are different than a regular Debian potato-I mean
the Stormix
specific ones.Different enough that it won't help here IMHO .
