I am really stuck with a problem
getting Stormix-Debian-Linux up on my
HP OmniBook 4100.
The problem I am having is a bootup
error message from HP that
says:
Save to Disk file not found.
Save to Disk feature is disabled.
Run PHdisk for information.
FILE: create new.
PARTITION: consult manual
Hit any key to exit
This flashes up in a different
background color over the top of the
Linux boot and then disappears. I am guessing
that although Linux
does come up that the hardware conflicts (pcmcia
cards not recognized)
may flow from this error.
I'd sure appreciate any quick
suggestions anyone may have. I will also
post this to the HP site ... though my experience with HP support in the
past has been poor.
