Incredible.

It's been my reading that its just the opposite. Those
who have expressed an openess to listening to the idea
of stadium, have been outposted and damn-near shamed
into saying anything to do with a stadium. Online and
OFF. I've got the emails to prove it.

While the opposition to a stadium is loud and clear,
there really has not been supporters posting here at
all. I posted on two aspects,
1. being on the fence and not really one way or
another at this point and
2. apparently a lot of people support the idea if you
look at the number from the last time around. You'd
think that I was overtly lobbying for it.

I have been a small-time lobbyist in the past and I do
have some campaign experience. I have yet to see a
professional push on this list for a stadium. I'll
know it when I see it, believe you me. I know Renee
well enough. I have debated and discussed opposition
views to many of the positions she take. Many. Trust
me, when she gets on an issue, its hers and pushing
her will only result in her pushing back. That's
what's happening. She's not, as far as I know, a
lobbyist for the stadium.

It's probably a little early to have someone trying to
sway public opinion on this yet. Depending on the
legislative session, look for that in the Spring.

Can't someone disagree or mention there may be a
another popular view floating around without being
attacked? Or discredited? Or should lurkers and
infrequent posters take note, that if they do not go
along with the majority of posters on here, they are
subject to the above? Is this the kind of list we
want?
