Introduction:
I am Renee Jenson. I have been politically involved most of my life (50+ years). I
grew up where hwys 280 and 36 come together. technically that's Roseville but I
always felt like I grew up in the "cities" because I spent all my time in either St.
Paul or Minnneapolis because I was right on the border of both of them. I had a St.
Paul address and a Midway telephone exchange (and telephone party).

I've been an advocate for numerous causes in my lifetime. I haven't really been an
advocate for the stadium (although I did try to conduct a brainstorming session on the
stadium in this forum.) the only time I have been registered as a lobbyist was when I
ran a non partisan group called RASSL (Repeal All Silly and Senseless Laws) which was
trying to remove the bedroom laws so that the Criminal Code could be updated.
Legislature wouldn't do it (or I should say Rich Stanek wouldn't touch them) Some
people on this list were members of this wild group and we had lots of fun! I have
never been paid for lobbying. But it has cost me a lot of time and $$$.

I run my own business (consulting) and am not employed by the city, or any
professional sport team in any capacity.

Since I was trying to get some info from people on what they believed an ideal stadium
would look like , I tried to keep list members focused on the question.

If I had asked a question on what would be the ideal way for a stadium to be funded,
then I would have gladly taken all the comments on funding. But that was not the
question. I can't imagine too many people would say "I'd love to pay for the stadium
out of my taxes".

Isn't it amazing that the things we enumerated in our "wish list" for the ideal
stadium plan are now part of the Mayor's overall plan. Tim said:

Gee, I wonder if this could be the people movers and LRT that we were talking about on
here a few weeks ago. I guess the papers should pay closer attention to us.
