This was posted, in regards to Superintendent Harvey's contract.
"The last I heard it includes a Jaguar."
This is a rumor that I've heard quite often. Too often.
What we know, is that the superintendent does get a car allowance. Which, I presume she can apply towards the car of her choice. The article in yesterdays paper seemed to suggest that this is very common in districts our size (which does not necessarily make it a good thing).

I'm pretty sure, that I've heard that she bought the car on her own - and, again, its her choice, which car she chooses to drive.
We should be able to put this rumor to rest, fairly easily. I've searched our archives for a clear answer, but haven't found any. Whatever info I heard, must have been offline.
Can anyone publicly answer this question once and for all?
Because, I'm really tired of hearing this brought up as a rumor - year after year.
Did the school district ever purchase a car for Superintendent Harvey?
