While i do believe the $1000 car allowance excessive, i didn't post my
questions to find out what kind of vehicle she used it one. i really am
curious how this allowance works. Does she expense things like lease payment,
maintenance, gas and the like and the school district reimburses her up to
$1000 a month? Does she just get an extra $1000 in her check at the end of the
month and that is supposed to cover vehicle expenses? Does she have a Car
allowance card that she uses for all vehicle related expenses and if that total
goes over $12k in a year, she is asked to pay the difference? This makes a
difference.
i suspect the vehicle allowance is just a way to hide compensation in her
contract. I can't say that for sure since i don't know how the allowance
works.
