So, did everyone see the article about Jay Benanav maybe running for mayor?
Has anyone heard anything more or gotten the inside scoop? I think he could
beat Kelly, although he'll need to muster a lot of money and support to do it.
But given how close their last race was...

Benanav mulling mayoral rematch with Kelly

Ward 4 City Council Member Jay Benanav said today that he may challenge Randy
Kelly again for the mayor's office.
"I'm mulling over my options at this point," Benanav said, when asked about his
plans. "I said I was going to wait to see how the field developed a couple of
months ago. It's becoming fully developed now... My options are open."
He hinted at a run earlier this week as well, when he said that he wouldn't run
to succeed outgoing County Commissioner Sue Haigh, noting that "other offices
are coming open soon." ...
