We have a lot of rabbits in Irvine Park, but my favorite visitor has been the immature Merlin who seems to live near the High Bridge plant:

We have also had foxes (I knew the footprints weren't a cat!) and once, many years ago, a deer. People have told me about coyotes, but I haven't seen one. And, of course, the mysterious sewer dwelling raccoons who I have only seen 5-6 times in 15 years!
That all of this would be around us just 3 blocks from the Xcel Center is a lot of what makes it a great place to live.
