I'd appreciate a short break for some clarity on this issue, especially for new subscribers. Could someone please remind us all of the following: 1) what Ramsey County enacted, which establishments it will affect and how that decision was made (wasn't there a charge to Public Health to come up with a formula for that?), and when it's going into effect 2) the status of legislative attention to a smoking ban 3) the status of St. Paul attention to a smoking ban that's broader than the county's (a comparison to Mpls and Hennepin County could be useful) 4) how any regs will be monitored, and who we should call if we have a question or believe an establishment is in violation Thanks! -- Anne Carroll
