My work site on Childs Road is directly across the river from Holman Field.
It is a real concern for businesses like mine on the other side, should the
airport build a dike.
The Mississippi has flooded three times in the last twelve years.
A dike around Holman Field will only send that much more water over to us.
Which means, it will take us longer to recuperate and get our normal business
back on our feet.
So, for us who work across the river from Holman Field, the proposed dike is
not in our favor.
