Dems hacks love to kidnap the NAME "progressive" in the hope that real
progressives will bite on the bait, and be reeled back into the dark dank
hole known as the DP.
Get them hooked, TALK progressive for a while (but don't insist Dem
legislators actually VOTE progressive), and then when US Senator or US
President is up for election, force them back into the Gore/Kerry pro-war
anti-progressive sell-out mode. It worked in 2004; they're working on
making it work again in 2008. Hillary, anyone? Meanwhile, look at the
truly rotten job the Dems have been doing in Congress. Voting lesser evil,
when THIS is what we're getting, is immoral and evil.
But it is always easier to live a life of denial, vote two-party even as
the ship is going down, blithely bumble along with Kelly/Coleman.
Coleman using the label "progressive" is theft pure and simple.
