If you don't like Kelly's policies, you won't like Coleman's either. I saw Coleman pull a particularly nasty parlimentary maneuver at the end of a long session. A room full of GSE opponents, 2 hours for the pro-GSE forces, 30 minutes for the opponents, and THEN Coleman "finds" a small word or two out of place, and says Either we vote on this now, and it LOSES, or we put it off till next week. So it got put off, to a time when the 200 people weren't there, and it could be postponed again and again while Lee&Hendry raked in profits and subsidies - clearly for as long as Coleman was going to be on the council.
The only hope was the next election, because Coleman had the support of the other 3 conservatives (Bostrom, Reiter, Harris). Profits for the few while the many suffer with asthsma and who knows what else. Proof of why citizens must be involved ALL the time to keep people like Coleman and Kelly, and any other Chamber mouthpieces, out of government. Not being involved means they will place a screwdriver in your slot, and twist. --David Shove Roseville On Wed, 6 Apr 2005, Andrea Lutvig wrote: > > you know, I would actually agree with Arno on this one.
