OK already!! Jerry Trooien is trying to develop a large tract of river basin land and he's planning on asking the city to throw in tons of money and some will come back by way of taxes---this scenario is nothing new. Why is the Pioneer DePress giving us mountains of pablum related to behind the scenes information about this guy like he's walking on water? Didn't they just do a lengthy article a couple of weeks (maybe a month) giving us all the gory details builidng the deal up to be some kind of life changing experience for all of us? Why today's aritcle citing many of the same things, but this time offereing some strange character analysis that reads like some kind of mythical character creation---bizarre to say the least. Could Susan and Randy have asked their buddies at the Pioneer Press to start a love affair with our local east side mythical home boy so when the deal starts to pump millions of dollars to super Jerry's dream site we'll all jump for joy because we revere him so much?
