I'm active in my neighborhood with regard to flats development. the problem is that even officials from the planning department will concede that his huge....project is completely in contrast with what the neighborhood and city have agreed upon for plans in the area.

Any urban planner worth their salt will tell you that you develop for the people who live there and not to draw a crowd.

building height is a huge issue on the west side flats. we have worked hard to make sure that future development respects the needs of all stakeholders. this river area is a critical natural and heritage site. gosh, St. Paul was born here on the landing.

creation---bizarre to say the least. Could Susan and Randy have asked

revere him so much?

A. I don't know who Trooien is. B. This is the first i have heard of the bridges complex. c. Anything i write below is strictly from reading the article.

I just read the article and don't recall one a month ago and I don't see what
the deal is here. The guy is proposing to build a billion dollar complex so
the paper did a story on him.

the article also mentioned that Randy and Susan said then need to see a solid
financial plan and neighborhood support first before the city gets involved.
Now why would their buddies at the pioneer press print that if the motivation
is to start a love affair?

if the financials are solid, would $90 million be too much for a $1.5 billion
deal?

Seems like a lot of black helicopter stuff to me.
