I meant no offense to you or your family Richard. Perhaps if you had posted some commentary of your own to give some perspective to your post it would not have been misinterpreted. I have blacks in my family too, not that it matters in regards to this discussion. I didn't say it would be easy. I said that _IF_, and yes, it is a BIG IF, Obama were to do something like giving McCain some kind of role in his administration it would go a long way to easing the problems the less extreme conservatives would have accepting their defeat. It would be leading by example, one measure of a true leader. I also believe it would go a long way to making it easier for congress to find some kind of consensus in their search for the solutions our country is looking for them to provide.
