guess you aren't following along either. the reason for them, was a small glimpse into the undertow of racism in america. if you don't see it where you live, then consider yourself fortunate. or maybe something else is going on. it's going to be difficult to do as you say[but not as you do] in 'someone needs to take the first step' in healing the partisan divide...some yoke compared it to the civil war [might have been one of the authors of one of those conservative anti obama missives i posted], there...mindsets a century and a half old...well, that's not working for me and i suspect not gonna work for most of the people who support obama. i don't see any point in "uniting" with conservatives. they want too much. and offer little, if anything. -- "...don't tell them anything! they haven't even tortured you yet!"
