"Tiles" sound nice too, and is in the same way as "Struts", but its French
translation has a bad connotation.
Among the proposed names, we have :
* viewparts
* viewpieces
* tiles (bad connotation in french)
* portlets (already in used by other projects)
* pieces
* blocks
* snippets
* layouts (maybe too restrictive)
First ones are my preferred, and I will certainly use "viewparts".
