When you say that an enterprise portal has much more to offer than something like Liferay, do you mean that - more and higher quality pre-built portlets are necessary? - development tools are necessary? - or that the architecture of Liferay is not designed well enough to stand up to beasts like Epicentric/WebSphere? I agree with the first two. If the latter though, what do you think could be improved about the architecture of Liferay?
