I don't know what that means. Which menu options fail? The global drawer? The 
context menu? The buttons?

Yes, we have always had the situation that some people want to use the system 
tools to make their fonts unreadable, other people want that option as part of 
the app settings. And of course you can then combine these functions and break 
any UI.
That's the beauty of Android.

As I said in my other email. People who use swipe gestures are pretty much, on 
their own. Those show up as partial touch events in the app and there seems to 
be very little that we can do to prevent that. The simple recommendation is 
just: don't.
