Is that not a typo?
I've been told it should be inermis not inermus.

Het uur vliegt snel en de dood overvalt ons onverwacht.
[Maybe a listmember with better knowledge of Dutch/English could 
provide us with an english translation? As far I can see, your translation 
is pretty the same... in english]
