Hi all,

In earlier conversations which I had with Douglas Hunt, he was also
reluctant to disclose the details of his design. As far as I can figure out,
an exact solution for a double-ring analemmatic dial would be possible if
DST would begin and end at the same solar declination. Roger Bailey pointed
out how that can be done.

In the European Union, this is not quite the case, however: DST runs from
the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October. So a bit of fiddling
is necessary to accommodate the March and October parts of the date line, as
they in principle need different scale factors. But the difference will
generally go unnoticed, I presume.

As far as I can see, no EoT correction is present in this design.

Regards, Frans
