Its depend on your requirement actually. What best from sun ray compare to other Thin Clients (Wyse and Smarflex LTSP - I will not talk about web base access since its totally different):
1. No Local OS and No Local Configuration - Not at all
Sun Ray using DHCP to connect to Sun Ray Server. All setting and resource only done in server. Advantage : EVerythING will be centralised. Disadvantage : Need bigger server resources compare to other thin client.
2. Secure:
This also the best from sun ray. I think this is one of main reason sun ray is used in army. But then you also have the concequency of it
3.Session Mobility
This is very nice feature of sun ray. This always work for customer on Demo :)
4.Color and Audio Quality : OK
I have compare with rdp client from windows PC and the color is much nicer. Never had chance to try wyse and LTSP.

All those stuff is sales thing. If you dont need those feature, dont go to Sun Ray.

I'm looking at the Windows thin client market and wondering what is the best choice of a thin terminal architecture?

-Sunray
- Wyse
- SmartFlex LTSP?
- Web base access

The primary application would be access to MS office and Outlook/
Exchange. (Please don't try to talkup JDS etc. It's out of scope for now).

Does Sun have a marketing position on this?
Thanks

Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
