A customer of ours had some
challenges with hand barcode scanners and the NumLock key.
Theirs tended to turn the NumLock key off, which annoyed the operators
who were also doing keypad numeric entry.

Our application runs directly in Solaris, we don't use WIndows or any
type of connector.
But I would think it would work fine - the Sunray simply sees the
barcode scanner as a keyboard, so it should work just the same.
