Thanks Mike .. fingers crossed it will play that nicely. Most people
seem to have had good experiences with Symbol devices so far. There are
lots of different models out there, so I'm hoping to borrow some from
the customer to test.

Our application runs directly in Solaris, we don't use WIndows or any
type of connector.
But I would think it would work fine - the Sunray simply sees the
barcode scanner as a keyboard, so it should work just the same.
