No, these aren't overlay touchscreens.

It seems to me though that the technology doesn't matter as much as the drivers 
that are communicating with the operating system.

are these overlay touchscreens ? if possible we want to avoid eating up
more real estate with a second screen.  I would be interested at some
point soon in the hardware and config details even if they arent.
