We ordered the touchscreens directly from Trident and they cost us
around $620 for a 15"

No, the driver was wrote by the guys at Trident. It took some work
with them to get everything working correctly..it took us a few months of
poking at it to get it workign properly. If you do order them from Trident,
make sure and request that the 4-pin cable that connects the controller to the
sensor is connected the same way on every screen. If it's not, you will have
some touchscreens that work properly and some that are mirrored.

That is cool! We are looking for a working touchscreen solution for Sun
Rays (3.1) for a while now for a house automization project. Which
touchscreens do you use? What do you mean by "it took some work first"?
Do you mean you had to write your own driver?
Who delivers these touchscreen and what do they cost? I assume a
special driver for Solaris 10 is required to get this working!?

Andreas
