I have installed the SRS5 EA1 release on a Solaris 10 u7 X86
dual core workstation class machine.
I have an additional dual core workstation with Solaris Expreess
build 115 with virtualbox 3.0
which have an windows XP SP3 virtual machine.
I have installed the SUN MMR on the Windows XP machine.
I have updated my Sun Ray 2 firmware to the SRS5 firmware.
I can connect to the Windows XP rdp server using uttsc from the Sun RAY .
There is a big difference in the smoothnes of "you tube" videos run
in Internet explorer 8
and the same video run through Firefox 3.5 IE is probably two to
three times better in smoothness.
The small MMR icon also apperas in the status icon field.
However using the same setup and trying to use accelerated Microsoft
Video WMV files does not work
the windows Media player freeze up and the uttsc connection to the
windows XP machine seem to crash.
Windows Media acceleration works with the VDI3 set of software , i
tested last week at a customersite.
Which Version of Virtualbox should I use for SRS5 and windows XP
media acceleration ?
