I agree with Bob.
I've also been using a cordless Logitch mice and keyboard and it
works great.

Yes to all the below. I use cordless Logitech mice and keyboards with my
Sun Rays all the time.
Note however that recently when I looked around Best Buy for a bluetooth
mouse I found that they were unusual and expensive.
Much better to buy a cordless mouse with a tiny USB receiver - they have
ones that only have a tiny nub extending beyond the USB connector now,
for unobtrusive, semi-permanent installation in a laptop. I chose a
slightly larger one the size of a fingernail so that I could share it
among a few laptops as needed. I love it. Bluetooth appears to be more
relegated to cell phones now than to laptops, from what I see.

Hi guys,
I have no experience with cordless mice/keyboards what so ever, so I'm
hoping that someone out there does :-)
Basically I need to get one for my Ray at home as it's connected to a
large LCD TV if which cable of Sun keyboard doesn't stretch all way
over to coach.
First of all my question has to be, will it work?
-I think there are two types of interface, one Bluetooth and the other
seems to be standard RF? - according to Logitech's site anyway which
is the manufacturer of device I am looking at.
Does anybody have any advice for this as whatever I've seen says it's
compatible with MS Win or Apple OSX which of course would be
proprietary drivers but for Linux/Solaris I don't know... also for
Rays too. I need Linux and SXCE b_116 on SPARC to handle it!
On top of that I know this is a Ray mailing list and probably not the
same place to ask this but since linked I will proceed; would a
Bluetooth mouse work with a laptop running Linux with built in
Bluetooth 2.0 radio?? Just as I want to buy altogether as one package :-)
Many thanks
Kaya
P.s. a multi media Ray would be the first thing on my shopping list
once I get employed, start my career, and manage to save up enough!! :-)
