I am still confused about the protocol used as all say 2.4GHz but not bluetooth??

2.4GHz is a frequency, not a protocol. Not all wireless devices use 2.4GHz (Logitech uses 27MHz on some keyboards and mice).

Bluetooth is 2.4GHz, but not all 2.4GHz is bluetooth (or 802.11b/g/ etc). Tires are round, but not all round things are tires. (: If it comes with a dongle, it's (probably) not bluetooth.

You see 2.4GHz a lot because there is an unlicensed band available there.

I tried the Microsoft wireless keyboard and it failed to work with the sunray. Come to think of it, I don't know if I tried it with the sunray2; I should test that again.
