And network connection is still dead.
This is a new opensolaris 2009.06 installation which has been upgraded to b125.
I have not tinkered with it. After your suggestions, I have this:
or...@frasse:~$ netstat -rn
Routing Table: IPv4
Destination Gateway Flags Ref Use Interface
-------------------- -------------------- ----- ----- ---------- ---------
192.168.0.181 192.168.0.181 UH 1 0 e1000g0
192.168.56.0 192.168.56.1 U 1 0 vboxnet0
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 1 6 lo0
Routing Table: IPv6
Destination/Mask Gateway Flags Ref Use If
--------------------------- --------------------------- ----- --- ------- -----
::1 ::1 UH 1 0 lo0
I dont think the network is dead . The gateway definition is
missing.
most likely you need to do
# echo "192.168.0.1" > /etc/defaultrouter
and reboot .
if that is your routers address.
