OK, looks like a dead end to me. In your mail from sunday you also mentioned 
errors during initialization of the LDAP data base (utconfig). 
No idea if this is related. Did you in the meantime
make a succesfull run of utconfig?  
Anyway, I would at this point perhaps try a fresh installation of SRSS. 
 remove all SRSS packages and then remove (or rename) all the relics,
including /etc/opt/SUNWut and /var/opt/SUNWut
