Interesting results. I have an iPad 1 with IOS 4.3. I use 3 fingers to tap up the keyboard and put it away.
Also, when I have a bluetooth keyboard connecting to iPad, I have found that only the "ctrl/alt/etc" keys show up. The keyboard does the rest of the stuff. Still always with a 3 finger salute to get the ctl keys to show&go. The 2 finger right click is the one that I have trouble with. Takes a while for me to get that one going! /paul On Fri, Jul 15, 2011 at 2:11 AM, Patrick <[email protected]> wrote: > An update! > > I pretty much ruled out my friends arm being bionic and so producing weird > results on his ipad1 running Oracle Virtual Desktop Client since i've had a > go at it aswell. > I'm pretty sure i'm not bionic! > > It gets better! > > The four finger tap to raise the keyboard on the app only works when the > ipad is in a vertical stand and not in a horizontal (landscape) one. > Believe me .. we tapped! > > Also sometimes when the keyboard pop's up (when in vertical position on his > ipad1) only the top of the keyboard shows with the function keys there. > Using the gestures to drop en pop the keyboard solves this. > > unix on my ipad, it's awsome.. > > > On Wed, Jul 13, 2011 at 8:48 PM, Patrick <[email protected]> wrote: > >> On Wednesday, July 13, 2011, Craig Bender <[email protected]> >> wrote: >> > Possible that the colleague is expecting the keyboard to pop-up when a >> text field is touched?
